Prime Air AC successfully completed a major Daikin UK VRV IV installation at the Marriott Bonvoy Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Edinburgh.
The project comprised 65 concealed indoor air-conditioning units, together with hydroboxes and hot-water cylinders, providing an integrated solution for heating, cooling and domestic hot water.
One of the main challenges was completing the installation while the hotel remained fully operational. Through careful planning and close coordination with the hotel’s management team, the project was delivered safely and efficiently within approximately 12 weeks, with minimal disruption to guests and daily operations.
The new energy-efficient Daikin system replaced the hotel’s existing fossil-fuel heating equipment, delivering improved climate control, greater guest comfort and a more sustainable solution aligned with the hotel’s long-term environmental objectives.
